Nothing is better than an original. An original is always considered of greater value than duplications or imitations. This same idea applies to your Walden portrait. You can travel from North Carolina to California, Florida to New York, and even go overseas and notice portrait photographers styling their work as close as possible to the Waldens. The popularity and distinctive look of a Walden's Relationship style of portraiture has been so successful that is has evoked “knock-offs” everywhere. Some of the world's leading photographers have reported that the Walden Relationship style is today the most revered and copied style in the world! With that said, it should not be a surprise that our Relationship style is also widely imitated here in Kentucky, but let's face it; nothing speaks like an original! There is a difference even a novice can see.
The very distinctive Walden Relationship style was birthed from two areas. This first area is our heart; our style is a visual representation of our hearts as artists. It has always been important for us to bring out and tell the story behind every face. The second area is from our very specific talents as our roots lie in black and white photography. Tim’s training started in a darkroom at twelve years old to help his father print. When our heart married our talent, it formed a style that is today known internationally as the Walden Relationship portrait.
Few things in life require the craftsmanship and skill that go into the creation of an original Walden black and white photograph. With only a handful of artists truly producing black and white photographs with the qualities we insist on. We know you will enjoy the difference.
We know that you have made an investment in your Walden image, and we want to insure you that your investment could not have been made at a better place. No corners have been cut as we produced your original Walden's black and white portrait. So look for the seal “It's an Original”, and you will know it is a one-of-a-kind, limited edition piece of art.
Thank you,
Tim Walden
P.S. This seal was designed by the Walden's graphic designer, and it is also one-of-a-kind. The seal will be stamped on the back of each print and signed by the artist with a printing registration number which indicates the date, quantity, and printing order of that image. As of June 1, 2004, we are implementing the use of this seal to indicate that you have purchased and now own a Walden's ORIGINAL!
