What makes a Walden Black and White special?

1st — Vision
No matter what the artist's talent, without a vision for what they desire to accomplish, their work is short of potential. We pride ourselves in knowing what we want and in knowing what we don't want. Which, by the way, is every bit as important. Our vision is to create emotionally based images that “Speak” of what is truly important in life. We do this with absolute simplicity in our approach so that there is no mistake as to what you should see and experience when you look at each image.

2nd — Know How
Tim is trained as a Black and White fine art portraitist with the convictions to create pieces the way they should be created.

3rd — Execution
All of the museum and canvas prints are printed on the finest papers. They are carefully corrected and hand enhanced in order to complete the vision. All images are processed in-house for total control, fine-tuned, and hand worked; there are no cut corners.

4th — Limited edition pieces
Each museum and canvas image is a limited edition piece. The museum print comes to you matted in an acid free mat and with a certificate of authenticity. Why are these limited edition? Well, only the museum and canvas prints are artist controlled and enhanced. The reasons for these being limited edition pieces are plentiful. First, each printing session is different. Many subjective decisions are made during that time, so repeating the image as you first have it printed is impossible. And, no matter how hard you try, you will always prefer one to another. Secondly, fine art images are very timely. If we allowed orders to trickle in over time we could not deliver images in any reasonable amount of time. Finally, like any great art, time and availability are limited.
