Over the years, we have heard and seen aspiring photographers proudly show off their pricey cameras with gadgets and buttons that nobody knows how to use..and in our world as portraitists, the camera is the LEAST important tool in our "toolbox."
Yes, we need to know how our camera works.
But a fantastic camera it is not what makes a great photographer any more than holding the best scalpel in your hands makes you the best surgeon in town.
For us as is the case of most artists, VISION is what is critical.
We see the end from the very beginning.
A blank canvas opens up vistas of possibilities...and that is what we love.
