You will never have this day with your children again...

When our girls were little, I mistakenly thought I would always remember how they looked at each age.
I never wrote the year or their age on the back of the many portraits we did of them.
Today, as I look back many years later, it is all a blur.
I should have paid more attention to the details. Time seems to dim memories.
We wake up one day and the kids are adults and we think, "What happened to the time?"
Don't have regrets. Bring your children in at different ages for portraits.
It is significant for you today and in the future, for them!
"You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they'll be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breathe and notice. Smell and touch them. Study their faces and little feet and pay attention."
