It is an investment…

Your Child’s Portrait is an investment for you…and for them.

As parents, we understand how priceless photos of your children are. In the age of Smartphone cameras and social media overload, you may wonder why invest the time and money on professional portraits when your camera roll (iPhone) is already full of candids?

While we do love the candid moments captured on our phones, they do not have the qualities necessary to create an amazing wall portrait.

Quality Over Quantity

Yes, your Smartphone hosts hundreds (or thousands) images of your kids:-) But volume shouldn’t be confused with meaningful photographs.

We have spent our entire lives learning and gaining the expertise to create images that have artistry, purpose, and craftsmanship that casual snapshots lack. Tim was mentored by his father for more than 30 years and we bought the studio from him as he retired. In fact, Tim’s father came from a family of photographers, including his brother and several uncles. It was in his blood!

Key Milestones and Significant Moments

As your child grows, you’ll want to commemorate their transformation over the years. Many times, we are asked the best ages to have children photographed. To answer those questions, we created an e-magazine we call, A Life in Portraits, that answers those questions. You’ll cherish having images of your child at all stages of life as you are guided through A Life in Portraits.

Generations

You can rest assured that our portraits, printed on archival paper with carefully curated, archival processes, have longevity. They can be passed down as heirlooms. Smartphone photos stuck on devices have a sadly short lifespan and lack print quality. Fifty years from now, beautifully printed portraits will still be around while the images from your Smartphone will not exist.

Planning

Yes, scheduling a professional portrait requires more effort than just snapping spontaneous pictures on a whim. This is where we shine as we have a stylist and designer on our team to help with all of the details, from clothing to where the finished portrait will hang (and everything in-between). She walks alongside you, every step of the way and eliminates any stress you might feel. The effort pays off for images your whole family will treasure.
