Our culture…who we are and what to expect

Culture: the values and beliefs that inform how a business conducts itself.

Preparation

We put emphasis on preparing for your visit and we want your time with us to be delightful!

In preparation for any upcoming portrait session, our goal is to ensure a seamless and exciting experience that meets all of your expectations.

Prior to the actual portrait sitting, we meet for a pre-session consultation (we call it a Design Appointment).

During this meeting, we will go over all the details. This collaborative process aims to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere during the portrait session itself.

This time that we spend together plays a pivotal role in the overall success of the final portraiture.

By investing time and effort upfront, we can ultimately deliver portraits that exceed your expectations.

PLUS, we want to get to know you and your family.

As Tim often says, “I never want to photograph a stranger.”

Purpose

Our desire is to help you preserve your family's values, legacy, and traditions across generations.

Fueled by a profound sense of intention and purpose, our portrait work strives to tell the stories of your family.

Through our portraiture, we dedicate ourselves to creating imagery that will become a legacy for your family.

Our goal is not to capture frozen smiles or stiff poses, but to find the subtle nuances that unveil the true stories of your family.

With a deep appreciation for the unscripted moments, we look for unguarded gestures and genuine emotions.

Print

We are PRINT ARTISTS and PRINT MASTERS.

Our work is not complete until it is in print form.

In fact, we believe printing is as much an art as taking the photograph itself.

In twenty years and even further down the road, you will still enjoy portraits hanging on your walls as they continue to grow in value.

Because this is part of our culture, we use only archival materials that will stand the test of time.

The amount of care given to producing each and every portrait that goes out of our doors is worth it.

We believe you feel the same way.

When we go out to eat at a location that has a history behind it, I ALWAYS love to read about its history. If you feel the same about places you visit, I thought I would include a short PDF about our history.
