“If you’ve been considering a portrait session, these are the questions many quietly wonder about.”

+How much should we expect to invest?

Every portrait we create is custom-designed, so your investment depends on what you choose to create for your home.

Some families want a single, meaningful statement piece. Others design an entire wall collection.

We’ll guide you through every option so you can choose what feels right—without pressure, and with complete clarity.

+ What if my kids don’t cooperate?

They don’t need to.

Children don’t have to sit perfectly still or smile on command (this never works…) to create something beautiful. In fact, the most meaningful portraits often come from the in-between moments.

The trick to get natural expressions is to engage their minds and we learn what will do that in our Design appointment.

We have a few thoughts about this very topic that we would encourage you to check out here.

+What should we wear?

This is one of the most common concerns—and one we make simple.

We recommend solid, neutral tones and classic pieces that won’t feel dated over time. Coordinating rather than matching creates a more refined, natural look.

We’ll walk you through every detail in our Design Appointment so you feel confident and prepared.

Our Team Member and Stylist, Deborah, helps you make the right decisions on clothing.

+Do we need to know what we want ahead of time?

No—and you don’t need to figure this out alone.

Most families come to us with a feeling, not a fully formed plan.

Our role is to guide you—from first ideas to finished artwork—so you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

+How far in advance should I book a session?

We recommend booking 6-8 weeks ahead to secure your preferred date and time. We do try to accomodate quicker timelines if neccessary.

+Do you help design custom wall galleries?

Absolutely. We’ll help you plan a beautiful display that complements your home and lifestyle.

+What sets Waldens apart from other photographers?

We combine luxury artistry, personalized attention, and legacy-quality prints. Every session is a thoughtful, elevated experience, not just a “photo shoot.”.
